We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School in the village of Elwick, on the outskirts of Hartlepool. We aim to provide an inspiring education, underpinned by the Christian values of respect, forgiveness, love, care, compassion and equality. We expect to find God with us in our school. We have strong links with the local church, St. Peters, as well as the Reverend Janet Burbury, who plays an important role in the life of our school. Our pupils participate in daily collective worship in school and attend Church at regular times throughout the year. Christian teachings play a large part in our values in our school and help us with our own attitudes towards our learning as well as our behaviour towards others in our school community.
